CTET EXAM PATTERN 2019 – Know more
The CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) exam
will be conducted by CBSE on December 8, 2019. The CTET exam will help in
appointing teachers for primary and upper primary classes. CTET helps to filter
out most effective and best candidates who can actually maintain the level of
education in today’s world and allows them to teach in a more integral manner.
The CTET exam pattern is classified on the basis of
two different levels, that is one for primary level (Paper I) and other one for
elementary/ upper primary level (Paper II). Candidates need to follow their
respective exam pattern for preparation. CTET exam pattern and syllabus is set
by CBSE and it is constant for many years, thus easy to understand and prepare
from previous question papers also.
CTET exam syllabus along with the exam pattern is
very important for candidates to prepare. Both the papers have different
syllabus and sections to prepare for the examination.
PAPER I
Child development and pedagogy (30 marks) – Child development, Concept of inclusive
education and understanding children with special needs, Learning and pedagogy
Language I (30 marks) – Language comprehension, Pedagogy of language
development
Language II (30 marks) – Comprehension, Pedagogy of language development
Mathematics (30 marks) – Content and Pedagogy issues
Environmental studies (30 marks) – Content and Pedagogy issues
PAPER II
Child development and pedagogy (30 marks) – Child development, Concept of inclusive
education and understanding children with special needs, Learning and pedagogy
Language I (30 marks) – Language comprehension, Pedagogy of language
development
Language II (30 marks) – Comprehension, Pedagogy of language development
Mathematics and Science (60 questions) – Mathematics include Algebra, geometry,
number system, pedagogy issues and Science includes food, materials, how things
work, moving things people and ideas, pedagogy issues.

Social studies (30 questions) – History, Geography, Social and political life
and pedagogy issues
