How is BITSAT counselling carried out?


BITS Pilani counselling and seat allotment process will be starting tentatively from June 20 – August 8, 2020. BITSAT crackers are required to register for the admission process separately. The forms are available at http://bitsadmission.com.

Seats will be allotted to eligible students only on the basis of merit and preferences selected whilst applying for BITSAT admissions. However, BITS give direct admission to the state and board toppers. 

BITSAT 2020 Application Form for Counselling  

Students qualifying BITSAT 2020 can avail admission by filling the admission form for online counselling. A BITSAT admission form has to be submitted along with class 12 mark sheet. Along with it, they also have to enter the preferences of colleges and courses they are willing to get admission in.

BITSAT 2020 Counselling Stages 

BITSAT counselling process will begin tentatively from the first week of July 2020. It is organized in a variety of iterations in which admission and the waiting list of the applicants will publish.

  • After the announcement of BITSAT 2020 Result, the counselling process will start that may continue for a week. It is carried out in two steps: Document verification and then Seat allotment in various BITS campuses and courses.
  • 4 iterations of BITSAT counselling process will take place and the process will continue till August 2020 tentatively.
  • As per BITSAT 2020 Merit List, a seat will be assigned to the candidates.
  • The waiting list of students will be taken into account for the next round of seat distribution.
  • Candidates with lower ranks are called for 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds of counselling in the order of their ranks until all the seats are filled.

The BITSAT results will be published by the BITS, Pilani exam organising authority through online mode only. No other mode will be available to you to access the result.

BITSAT result 2020 can be checked on the next day of the exam date. No hard copy of the results will be sent to the students by post or any other means.
