The candidate needs to fill the application form along with the payment before 18th of October 2019, in order to appear for the examination. The complete section process consists of two examinations: Paper-I(Prelims) and Paper-II(Mains). SSC CPO Prelims examination will consist of 200 questions for 200 marks. It will be a computer-based online test which will continue for 2 hrs. The candidate who has cleared the Prelims examination will be allowed to appear for the Mains Examination. Mains is also an online-based examination which will contain questions of 200 marks. The time duration for the Mains examination is 2 hrs. The Mains exam fills focus on the candidate's English Language and Comprehension Skills. One who is able to clear both the online-based examination is required to appear for Physical Standard Test(PST) and Physical Endurance Test(PET) for the final selection.

SSC CPO Mains Syllabus
SSC CPO Syllabus is the most important part to be considered for the preparation of the examination. The important topics to be studied for the SSC CPO Mains examination are Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, Quantitative aptitude and English Comprehension.

1.   Logical Reasoning: The questions based on logical reasoning can form topics like coding-decoding, Blood relation. Venn Diagram, Series, Blood Relation, Analogy, Classification, Puzzles etc.
2.   General Knowledge: This portion could include the topic related to politics, History, Geography, Economy Current Affairs, Science and technology etc
3.   Quantitative Aptitude: This portion will contain the questions from Number System, Simplification, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Time & Work, Mensuration, Geometry, Trigonometry, Data Interpretation etc.
4.   English Comprehension: Comprehensive part has problems related to problem-solving, Synonyms and Antonyms, Fill in the blanks, One-word Replacement, Reading Comprehension etc
